Check out the 1 piece scope rings I made!

I designed and made this set of scope rings for my Savage in .22 magnum. It is machined from a block of aluminum and is all one piece. It came out pretty cool.

It still needs polishing and some sort of coating, and stainless screws. The hardware store didn't have much selection. My next ones will be even better, I might replace all my scope rings

Nice, how does it line up with your eye? if you can see through that you must not have been able to ever see those open sights.

I actually made it tall to clear the bolt. I was a little worried about the height, but I must say, it lines up pretty good for me. The nice thing is, I can make as many as I want and vary the height quite easily
