    Chinese knockoff sights ?

I'm interested in Chinese knockoff/ Off brand sights. They're priced low enough where you can buy and experiment with several types. Anyone admit to having some of these, and willing to comment, make a recommendation ? Love to hear ANY experience someone has with Red Dot, LVPO, Holo, etc.

    Thanks

Plenty of youtube videos on knock off optics intended for airsoft... I wouldn't waste my money on those. Save that money and buy the genuine stuff

If you do, get it on amazon for easy returns. I kept mine which is 100% reliable. They used to run for $30-40 for red dots and now prices are $50, still good value for target shooting.

Thanks, I certainly get your POV, use it myself on China made products most times also, but I'm exploring. It's likely many name brand optics are OEMed in China, so my suspicions are that knock-offs and no-names may at their core be the same. Looking for other's experiences.

I bought some "Magpul" sights on Ebay a while back just because they were so cheap, like $20. When I got them they were in a Magpul box and package. Upon close inspection and comparison to a set of original Magpul sights I could see there was a clear difference in the fit and finish. The ones I got on Ebay were clearly knockoffs, but other than a slightly off finish and some rough edges, they seemed to work just like the originals.

I ended up giving them away, but my feeling was they would have worked just fine for my needs.

Get involved, let's fix these 2nd Amendment misunderstandings.

It's not the size of your gun that counts, only the fun factor...

There are those “made in China” and there are those that are “knockoffs from China.”

So far - my Holosuns and Vortex have held up more than my Trijicons and Leupolds

There is a difference between cheaply made fake ACOGs and Chinese OEM/ODMs that assemble budget tier scopes for Vortex, PA, Bushnell, Arken, ..etc

If you want to get your hands on Chinese OEM/ODMs (don't think it will be much cheaper and will not have brand specific warranty), this is your reference list.

Articles about OEMs of rifle scopes, red dots, prism scopes, and magnifiers.

Thanks fellas, right, that's an important distinction I didn't flush out. My focus is on price, so I'm trying to identify China OEMs who manufacture for the name brands, but basically sell similar products under their own or a lesser known private label name. Absent finding an OEM private labeled item, I'll look at "knockoff" of those China OEMs from other China companies.

                Tks for the website also.

Check out Swampfox - they have a great sale going. Way cheaper than Holosuns and, I'd say, may be more robust than Vortex.

Totally dont understand the buying stolen tech,? My brother imported Kippur generators from chine by the cargo container full. Helped them improve them by sending over competitors generators. Then they got rid of the distribution base and sold direct. Why would you support the communist? Or thie thieves of other peoples designs??

Based on no firsthand experience, Vector Optics might be worth a look.

I ordered an S6, and can share what I find once I get it.
