    Help shooting Aimpoint

Hi everyone, I just got back from the range, I was zeroing in my aimpoint at 50 yards. I mounted it my M4 carbine. Out of the box I mounted it and took 3 shots shooting low and to the left. So I went up 8clicks and 8 clicks to the right. Next group almost dead center real close. I wear glasses My eyes are bad. Hard to see Iron sight any more, thats why I got a AIMPOINT. Any way I shot better with the dot brightness at 6 oclock, the mark on the switch straight down. Any brighter and the dot started to bloom and distort and look oblong. You shooters that wear glasses do you have any tips or secrets to shooting the Aimpoint? My groups werent bad at first, but then they started opening up because I was straining my eyes. Any pointers will help. This is my first Aimpoint sight. I shoot fine with a Varable scope on my M1A. Irons and red dot are another story. Any tips. Thanks Ripper

use both eyes open, always, if you're not now and turn down the brightness until you can barely see the dot, against everything you're shooting, then go up 1 click.

    That's how I do mine.
