New Base Needed for Sporterized Mauser

I have a large ring sporterized Mauser. It currently has a Redfield single piece base with dovetail 1" rings. When I search the part number on the base it comes up as a Savage 99 single piece Redfield base.

I am upgrading to a 30mm scope and would like to switch to a picatinny single piece base.

The existing base has 1 hole in the rear and 2 holes up front.

Rear hole to nearest hole is just over 4.3 inches, center to center. Two front holes are about 0.9 inches apart. These are measurements off a cheap manual caliper, so not exact.

Can anyone help illuminate whether or not these holes are a standard dimension or are they a one off and I need an undrilled base to mount onto the Mauser?

Thank you. Oddly enough, EDW's base for a Mauser has nearly identical dimensions to the holes on my reciever. I am not sure why the Savage 99 comes up with the number on my Redfield base, but the dimensions you provided don't match mine at all, so I think I have a Redfield base for a Mauser. I've emailed EDW to see of they know whether their base matches the Redfield 3-hole I have.

Most Mausers where drilled and tapped a long time ago and the gunsmith used what they had on hand at the time.
I would look up the dimensions of the various older mounts and see what fits.

I shoot several Remington 600's and one piece mounts are extremely limited.
I use 700 Remington mounts on them and simply cut off the 4th bolt hole. This was a common way of doing things in the past. 0.880 bolt hole spacing is common so double check everything.
Also if your existing mount is working you can stack mounts if height isn't an issue.
