Considering the Millett TRS1 for my AR

Anyone with any experience of these on an AR? It appears to have a BDC dial on the left of the tube but can anyone confirm if it is calibrated for 5.56/223 at all?
Also it is a 30 milimeter tube - what would be the best way of attaching to the rail on my flattop?

Can't answer on the BDC, but:

Here's the Big List of AR15 one-piece mounts, including sections on rings and extended rails:

The new Millett TRS scopes are good scopes for the money. They don't have a BDC dial.

      They have:

      Mildot Bar Illuminated reticle
      30 mm tube
      Side focus
      1/4" click locking turrets
      Middle grade optics

As far as mounting...I use Armalite one piece. Rock solid. Stays zeroed.
