i bought an FN PBR some while ago, and have just been having trouble getting it zeroed in at 100, seems simple enough right?
well first, it was too low and i over=adjusted the scope and broke it, so i had it taken in to Nikon and they fixed it (for free!)
so now, i remounted it(done by smiths) and had it zeroed in and everything, the people who did the work said it should be fine now but it still is hitting one mildot(i believe since my scope is a mildot reticle scope) low at 100 yards with the scope adjusted the highest it can for elevation. I'm planning on getting an EGW base soon and hopefully it'll fix the problem. Any clues as to why it does this on a factory stock gun? Shouldn't the gun come to me able to mount a set of rings and a good scope and able to get zeroed in decently?
BTW, i'm running a FN PBR in 308, with a Harris Bipod, Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14x40 scope and the base that the gun came with. any suggestions? Thanks
