SIG has an offering of Certified Pre-Owned scope and rangefinder combo with BDX(?) that's supposed to communicate the rangefinder data to the scope with bluetooth I think. I'm familiar with their precision stuff, but I'm sure they have a good description on their website.

Basically I think it's supposed to allow you to range something and then show you your holdover from there.

What do you guys think about illuminating reticle? I have VX-R with Firedot on another rig and like it. But, there is no BDC or MOA marks. Makes it hard to gauge hold over.

I’m a fan of nightforce SHV scopes.

Nightforce SHV 4-14x50mm F1 riflescope with illuminated first focal plane reticles for precise holds in low light and changing conditions.

Since hunting tends to end up seeing a deer right at almost last light, is there any offerings that really enhance the low light environment better than others? Obviously, night vision is not legal to hunt deer with, but as long as I can see what is out there, I can shoot it. If I had 10-15 min more time, I am certain the big one will step out on me.

If I understand it correctly, the bigger the mm on the front end, in theory, the better it should work in low light. But not all glass holds equal I surmise.

I have been using the Leupold VX-5 3-15 to good effect, once I got the ballistic data dialed in I ordered the custom turret. First shot after getting the new turret was dead center at 600 yards. Might be worth looking into.
