Sig tango6

I am shopping for a 1-6 lpvo.

My first choice is the sig tango6. Am I missing something or why is it only sold in fde? I want a black one but it's not even an option on their site but they have a product picture of one???

My second choice was vortex razor and once again only available in some sort of grey/brown color.

I think a fde optic would look weird on a black AR?

i've seen advertised some of the SIG tango 6 models in black (to my eye they're kind of two toned black on gray)..heard nice things about them as well

I have one of the higher magnification versions. Great scope, I love it. Especially since I got it on that opticsplanet deal a while back for $529 shipped, instead of the 3 or 4 times that they sell for normally.

Buy the tan and paint it.

It's a great entry level LPVO. They have black and fde at our military exchange.

The Sig Tango6 is their top of the line. I own a 3-18 and it’s phenomenal
In build and optical quality. The only thing that I don’t like is the turret feel but that doesn’t matter on a 1-6.

They’re built as a competitor to the Razor series and do pretty well. Then only way it can be considered entry level is if you’re comparing it to NF 1-8, Razor 1-10 or Schmidt 1-8.

For a 1-6, for the same money I’d go Razor personally. It is the 1-6 all others are measured by. For less money, I wouldn’t hesitate on a Tango6.

That sounds like the Tango6T, which is the one the military adopted. Definitely not entry level.

The Tango6 has been discontinued. It has been replaced by the 6T. But, you can still buy a used certified Tango6 directly from Sig Sauer for $1,680.

However, Ebay has new Tango6's still available for $1,400.
