hs503G acss reticle question

I was way over thinking this. Was under the impression that acss prism optics weren’t suited for cqb or HD with out major compensation of reticle placement.

No precision shooting for me. Maybe 20 yards once in while but mainly for HD situations like with a standard red dot.

Kinda want to wait for the primary arms x2 or swoop on a swap fox.

OP why a 2x optic of you're not taking shots over 50 yards anyways? Maybe youre using the same rifle for hunting

@TS77- I’m probably going to pick up the swap fox blade 1x.

I kind of want to try the holosun 510c. Daily shooter says it’s crystal clear with his astigmatism, but I dunno if that will be the case with my eyes.

What kind of shot placement are you trying to achieve?

If you intending to use it for self defense at less than 20 yards, are you going to be trying to figure what distance and which dot to use?

In PCC competitions, I run a 25 yards zero. The only time I use the bottom of the circle is in multiple really close head shots. But normally you just end up holding slightly high with the dot.

The highest hold you need to do is 2.5" at zero yards. It's easier to just bias high all the time.

Nothing specific. I just want to be able to put the tip of the chevron and hit my target nothing past 20 yards. I think I over complicated my question, lol.

I’m new to the acss reticle and assumed it was just like a my old aim point as stupid as that sounds.
