PSA: If you lost an optic in San Diego...

PM me exactly the model you lost, what you were driving, how you think you lost it, and ~when/where you were. Looking to return a lost optic to its rightful owner.

I have zero to do with this scope, just thought that I would like to state that this is an upstanding and rightful thing to do.
    Seriously, thank you.

I'm happy to report the optic was returned to its rightful owner. This one was a doozy; optic (Leupold VX-Freedom FireDot 3-9) fell off of a trailer during a dog walk; by the time it was picked up, it was too far to stop the vehicle or read a plate. I drove around the area for a bit looking for the trailer with no luck.

Put a BOLO out with a neighbor and they saw a trailer parked in front of a house a few days later, and upon some discussion, I was confident this was the owner. They were in the process of moving and didn't even realize it was missing.
