Factory scope base on older Ruger American 30-06?

Does anyone know what 2-piece scope base came factory installed on the Ruger American 30-06 when it when it first came out (around 2012/2013)?

Just got a new scope and want to make sure I buy the correct rings.

From what I read, the inside of the Weaver mounting rail slots are supposed to be .180" wide and the Picatinny slots are .206" wide.
The ones on my rifle measure .156" wide so confused what's on there.

When I go on the Ruger website now, the scope base that comes with the Ruger American Standard is a 1-piece Picatinny rail but that's definitely not what I have.

Any set of rings for a Weaver base should work for you. The cross slot is just clearance for the cross bolt which secures the rings to the base. Your only concern is how high you need to go with the rings. What size objective is your scope? B.

It's the 30mm Vortex Viper HST 6-24x50

Ok cool, you can use either medium height rings or even low height rings depending on the ring manufacturer. Keep the scope bore as close to the barrel bore as possible, If you use a front scope lens cover you will prolly have to use the medium height rings. B.

I used to like the Burris Zee as well, specifically the Signature Zee for Picatinny and Weaver mounts. Unfortunately, Burris moved the manufacture of these rings to Red China, so I now have to turn my back. Leupold rings are always good, and made in USA.

I typically use medium rings on a rifle when, for example, mounting a Redfield Revolution 3-9x50 scope.

BTW, to answer the OP's original question, as I recall, they were Remington 700 Weaver mounts.
