    Hey guys,

Saw a peep sight that swaps out the original rear half buckhorn in the same spot. Seems nifty. I imagine for quick acquisition it would be cool.

What's it called, got a link? I may try it on a Marlin if the price is good.

I've only seen it on ebay so wasn't sure if it's good. Maybe it's it's on another site. Type "bullseye green fiber optic 94" and it will pop up. The link I tried to copy and paste was super long. I've seen something like this for a Mauser when looking for my brother's Swedish peeps sight.

Sure beats the option of drilling into an original receiver to install a peep sight!

Yeah for sure I'd never want to do that. I'd just get a Williams peep sight when I find a good deal. You don't have to drill with those and they are accurate. They mount all the way at the back. I have one on my 44 mag 1894. There are a few options but Williams seem the most reasonable and still nicely functional

you shouldn't have to drill - virtually every sight manufacture designs their sights to use existing holes.... with possibly the exception of Skinner

I have that on a lever, not a true peep it’s the Marbles Bullseye repacked with a fiber optic front, works good esp under 100 yards...and it’s cheaper to buy separately from Midway with a FO front after you do some measuring.

I do have real peeps also like Skinner, Lyman etc and they are great for more precision. Check YouTube some good vids on the Bullseye from “ Targetsuite”?

ETA: found it , he has another vid doing install. https://youtu.be/HoMTwOkt4yM

There are so many otherwise nice pre-64 Winchesters that have had holes drilled for receiver sights that I really like this design. The only limitation is that the aperture might be too far forward of the eye.

I have this on my Marlin 336 and recommend it.
