    Optics for Glock 34

i've been reading about the MOS feature allowing the vendor specific red-dot to be istalled at a lower level than a normal non-MOS glock. I also ready that there are issues with the MOS and it takes lots of adjustments to keep it zero'd in.

people have mentioned that having stantard sights behind the red-dot lookin thru to the front sight is desirable. don't know why but i'll go with that.

i guess you can buy a slide that has been cut for a red-dot, or have yours cut. i'm not sure what this achieves. does it put the red-dot at the same sight as the iron-sites?....Can you get an MOS and then use a strong bonding agent, locktight red, to make sure it doesn't move? if you use the MOS does it mean that our iron sights are going to line up exactly with the red-dot?

what is the most desirable option here, given that i want to use this (glock 34) for competition. i'm not dure which direction to go in......well, ok, i want to go in the best direction.

If you mount a g34 (gen 3) with a trijicon red-dot, are you just tapping holes and then mountaining or do you have to cut the slide to accomodate?

    thanks in advance!
