I just got the Trijicon RMR for my carry gun and noticed that the bottom just has an open hole for the battery. Does everyone usually run them this way or do you get the optional sealing plate?

I did get the sealing plate; ad copy purports that the plate holds the battery in more firmly, too. Some reports of 'flicker' being cured.ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page
Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!Comment

It's bad when you have to order a $10 part from Midway so you look for something else to buy to make the shipping worth it and you spend half an hour looking at the site and can't find anything that you need.Frank
