AR-10T front/rear sight selection

Hello all.... newbe here.... I would like some advice, I am building a
ar-10t w/24" ss match barrel. The barrel came with a picatinny rail on the gas block, my question is do I need a riser off this to level it with the A4 upper ? and if so, can you recommend a good quality setup for me...thanks for any help and thanks for this great site.....Jim in Santee CA

Midwest Industries Inc (aka MI) makes a gas block mounted front sight for the AR-10. It's the same one that Armalite resells on their website. It's slightly taller to accommodate the gas block mounting position without having to use a shim to compensate for the gas block mounting height.

For the rear sight, you can use any AR15 BUIS that you'd like or the AR10 carry handle.
