Please advise -- problem in zero Sako TRG 42

    Hello folks,

Appreciate if somebody can give me some advice ---

I was trying to zero a Sako TRG 42 338 Lapua at 100 yard. But it seems that I ran out of the elevation for the scope. I cannot hit the bull eye and the scope is at its limit now.

Is this because the rail of TRG is 30 MOA so it can only be zero at 200 yards?

Sako TRG 42 338 Lapua, rail 30 MOA
    Scope: Ziess 4.8-35x60
    Scope mount: 0 MOA

Thanks for any hints or help!

Most likely the Zeiss doesn't have enough elevation travel to zero with a 30 MOA rail.

Do I have the specs right on this scope?

        36mm tube
Vertical adjustment range at 100m is 130 cm

1/2 of the 130cm of scope travel is about 25"
And the 30 MOA rail is "elevating" about 30" at 100 yards.

Just zero at 200yard 300 yard. 100yard is too short for 338LM anyways

Thanks a lot, guys. I think the scope is not good for 30moa rail. Yesterday used it on a 20 moa rail, I was able to zero to 100 yard.
