Thank you everybody for the information! I ended up buying an Arisaka Defense offset mount. I was not sure if I like 35 or 45 degree offset more and Arisaka mount allows to try both. It was also the only decent mount that I could find in stock.

I though EoTech is making compact red-dots similar to RMR. Please forgive my ignorance - I'm at the very beginning of my rifle & gear endeavor.

I read about the BAC. Never had an opportunity to try it. Many people on internet, including Garand Thumb are claiming that even using BAC, ACOG will never be as quick as a red dot at close ranges. That's why I started researching on offset red dots.

I'm not Rockafeller by any stretch. However, I want all my gear to be absolutely rock-solid and high quality (hoping that it will compensate for low quality of the operator lol). I also like to support US manufacturers every time I can. Thank you for the information - I will do a research on Holosun. The EoTech on your picture looks absolutely gorgeous.

I wish I could go to a gun shop and try all those things out in different combinations. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be an option during this ongoing craziness. I probably picked the worst possible time for gear shopping

L3 Insight/Eotech does have a red dot and has for years. It's called an MRDS. They are still on the used and used new market and you can find them on eBay. The US military still uses them on their Elcan 1-4s and 1.5-6s.
