You sure you know how to use a holographic sight?

Try keeping both yes open and focus on a target away from the gun.

EOTech is the better kit of the two you chose - by FAR - but you better have EVERY compartment in your grip & stock stuffed with spare batteries.

Could always get an Aimpoint T2 or Comp m5.

Winner: YOU, after reading this review

And don't forget to use BDC red dots with a magnifier. or your eyes will get tired really quickly.
I mean, now I feel bad for being a smart *** in such a feel good thread. I'm a winner.

If you can still get Aimpoint PRO for around $350... I think my first one was $330... that is where all the TRULY indestructible RDS best buy points are in the entire world. Gamechanger!

AIMPOINT PRO. You are welcome. You win now. OP, you are now a winner. Go buy the PRO.

Seriously though, that post is way better journalism than anything on MSNBC, but I can tell you love Holosun. Try that thing... focusing on your target. It makes the Holograph look sharp as a Rzr.

Heh, it's not as bad as you think, Chinesium has come a long way (or I guess the QA certainly has). I wouldnt feel inadequate with a Holosun on my home defense rifle, and in fact, it IS on my HD rifle.

I would be more pro Aimpoint if they decided to go for cool new features like BDC reticles or circle dots. For CQB circle dots are great, just aim at the bottom of the circle within 10 yards. Now, Eotech does have the the circle dot except the battery life isn't as good and it doesn't have the shake on feature.

Yeah I know the Chinese manufacture origin is contentious to many here, it's your call on what you want to spend your cash on.

How can anyone take HS serious with these fonts.

I tell you what... I have two HS and they both have cool circle dots and two or three reticles. The auto dimming feature is horrible... buttons are annoying. For the price if they worked... then, great. I had 50% go back under warranty the other one isn't tested enough and the replacement is not tested enough to say whether either will fail. That's my sampling... an F grade. I'm hoping to have range fun with the two that are working great and looking bright and crisp indoors on carpet. YMMV. I may have even loved them at some point but I'm reporting about my current mood, hahah.

I have other cheap dots... the RD-1 and SPARC AR's are fine.

Just want to clarify, I don't love any particular brand over another , I'm impartial towards any product until I have used it myself.

Holographic sight is still new to me so it will take me some time to adapt to it coming from a reflex sight. Not saying I don't like my Eotech in anyway, just saying I may love it more after spending more time with it.

This is the Vortex holographic sight, looks like something out of a Hollywood movie: https://vortexoptics.com/vortex-razo...1-red-dot.html. You can usually find them for less than 500, made in USA.
