    Best rapid transition sights

Is Deuck Defense the best canted back-up sight or are they all the same? Pricing is all over the board. Need one for a POF AR10 in 6.5CM.
Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

The U.S. city with the most restrictive gun laws in the nation, Washington, D.C., has the highest murder rate at 24 per 100,000.
The state with the most unrestrictive gun regulations, Vermont, has the lowest murder rate at 0.48 per 100,000.

I've bought these backup sights from Amazon back when they were only $25. I've used and abused them for years with no issues. Is this is just a fun gun, these sights will get the job done. But you may want to spend the money on the Dueck sights if this is going to be a duty or SHTF rifle.

Sure, they might work fine... but don't you really want the $285 Knight's Armament set?

        Griffin armament makes a set.
Magpul and Midwest industries makes a set of offset folding sights.
Troy does too (but don't buy Troy).

The MBUS Pro offsets are what I’d get.

Problem being is they are folding and non locking.
Nothing so disappointing as transitioning to that sight to find out it went to bed early.
Not what I call a rapid outcome IMO.

I decided to order these for the Tritium on both front & rear sights. https://www.xssights.com/Detail.aspx...93115&CAT=8279

Those ain't bad... I kinda like those, over folders. If i ever own another rifle that needs some offsets, I might go THAT route!

Not that I'd opt for offsets regularly anyway... but I'd prefer them out of the way as much as possible when not using them. I do have some non-folding offsets and they are clunky and in the way. Nothing wrong with MBUS PRO on top of the rifle IMHO. You could learn to use them. They are popular for a reason.

They are popular because they say magpul on them

                        Not much else redeeming IMO.
I have a set and wonder what I was thinking getting them I prefer my sights to lock when in the up position, as I said, no surprises that way. And they hang out no farther on a rifle than any other optic, lamp or whatever.
                        As far as their quality,
The LMT, DD, Knights, Midwest industries, YHM, And even Troy sights i have on other rifles are worlds better IMO.

Nah, Magpul makes some wonky stuff... The Pros are great steel BUS. Some people do not like BUS. Some people love the irons co witnessed in the rds all the time and love a reference to find the dot... some don’t.

BUS are there if your optic fails.

They are pretty good construction, but a sight that goes down if bumped s not for me.
When I need my sight on my weapon, is no time for wild cards.
A non locking foldable sight is just that.
Which is why so many sights are locking. The dumb ones only lock when down (the spring up type for instance ...).

Not knocking the quality of manufacture, but the design, is not reliable given the variables of lethal combat.
Shopting paper, okay I guess, but I just don’t see the point given locking or fixed options

To each hos own, but reliability for me is far more important than convenience, and folding sights that do not lock are not that IMO.
