Got a small little red dot , looks pretty good, and came in a nice package, just wondering if it's even worth mounting on a gun?

Seeing mixed reviews of the model, but mostly good.

For free, so the price was right. And I got buis anyway.

Another plus, it's already lined up pretty well with the sights, I just can't remember how well dialed in those sights are(been a number of years since I shot it), oh well, first new toy in a long time for me!

Not airsoft type junk.
I like the one I have. Put it on a 3" chambered shotgun for turkey hunting.

You probably will not like it so send it to me as I have a pistol waiting for one. It has a old tube style red dot on it now

I bought a holosun 510 and an Eotech EXPS2. After checking out both, I returned the Eotech.

I felt the holosun had much better features and was more useful to me. Most of all, I appreciate the modern technology on the holosun such as: much better battery life, with solar and battery; auto on/off, ability to change reticle (I use plain dot mostly). Also, with my astigmatism, the holosun was much better (personal choice). Don't get me wrong, the Eotech is the real deal. If I didn't care about changing batteries all the time, and all I cared about was durability, the Eotech would likely be my choice.

Competition is good, consumers benefit. When its time to buy another pistol optic, I'm most def gonna check out holosun.

I'm looking to get a holosun 510 or their new enclosed "Holo" sight.

ETA: they've been getting better and better reviews. I'm willing to take the risk.
