LaRue ECOS EOtech mount

So I have an EoTech 512 mounted on one of these:

LaRue Tactical EOTech QD Mount LT-110

What should I be mounting on the back section? i know it says its for co-witness of PVS-14, but don't have one of those

People said that you can mount a magnifier on it, but my 3x mag is on a LaRue short FTS (LT 649 S) mount, and there is no way it would securely mount on the back section of the ECOS

do people mount their BUIS on there and put a magnifier behind it? what else do people mount on the back of the ECOS?

You can't mount a BUIS on it or it won't align with the front sights any more. A BUIS has to go directly on the flat top rail.

I'm not sure why they don't offer it without that section. They'd sell more if they did.

The only magnifier mount that will fit is the fixed magnifier mount (LT602), not the flip-to-side (LT649).

Thanks, i'll probably just leave the magnifier and buis behind the ECOS mount, just looks kinda stupid with that section there and nothing on there

Yeah i do wish they made an ECOS eotech mount without that section....
