    Considering Bushnell AR Optics 1-8x. Change my mind...

    As the post states. Going on the AR. If there's anything comparable for the price ($350). I want to hear what you got. Who else has an awesome deal going on?

      Vortex strikeeagle 1x8 is the gold standard in that price range.
      I have 2 and the are great. Palmetto state has them on sale all the time with the mount for under 400. Right now the 1x6 is on sale.

                  Atibal has a new 1-8X FFP that runs about $395 on the street. Only comes in MOA though. No MIL yet.

                      For a LPVO, I do like the Vortex. Got a Viper PST 1x6 on my SPR.

                          Would the viper be too heavy on a carbine? Also, how visible is the reticle without illumination?
