    Aimpoint Micro T-1 LaRue Mounts

I am looking at buying an Aimpoint Micro T-1 for my AR-15. I have the option of buying a slightly used optic with the LaRue Medium height mount (LT660HK) at a discount. Previously, I have only used the LaRue Tall height mount (LT660) an a flat-top AR-15. With the current offer, it is not cost-effective to buy the used T-1 and then have to buy a LaRue Tall mount.

Does anyone have experience using the Medium height mount on an AR-15?

    Thanks in advance.

What he said, unless you like your iron sights to have upper third co-witness, basically blocking almost your entire FOV through the optic.

Too low and not comfortable AT ALL...

While you will be spending $500-600 on these, why don't you do it right?

Use live.com to search for "Aimpoint T-1", and then buy it thru EBAY - buy-it-now with 8% rebate from smartgunner (he got T1 for $608 on ebay buy-it-now, and he is giving out the LaRue HIGH mount for free, to get away from the MAP for aimpoint)....

You will be able to get a T1+LaRue High mount for $560 shipped to you.

        Unbeatable deal!!

I just tried it, but it looks like the eBay cashback is off again. I've used it successfully in the past, but no luck this time. I will have to just keep an eye out for when the cashback for eBay is active and will make the purchase then. Thanks for the great idea.

              Seems like it....

It was still on this past Wed!

But if you don't need it right the way, then wait... it may come back 14% then you will be ahead!!

Or if you need it right the way, go with Smartgunner, his $608 shipped ebay price (or $603 shipped, website price) is still very hard to beat....

And he will get that to you SUPER fast.... eg. order on monday night, shipped out tue, get to you via USPS by thursday!!

If you need NV compatable and need to lockout 80 feet then go with the T-1 if you do not go with the H-1.

Yeah i was thinking the H-1 would work out better for me since i have no NVG/NV and can't imagine ever being 80ft underwater....i think i will have much more pressing matters if im 80ft underwater.....i'll be ditching that t-1 =)...and trying to make it to the surface

                          With the LaRue mount?

I thought that SmartGunner is only giving FREE LaRue mount with T-1 orders?
If $495 is only the H1 without the LaRue mount, then T-1 + LaRue mount for $560 would be a better deal!!

I do agree with everyone else saying H1 is all you need... but when I was looking for these, I found that Smartgunner's T1+Free LaRue mount using 8% live.com rebate is the best deal.... since he don't do that for the H1s!

I think the mount itself is close to a hundred buck!

No, it includes the mount. It seems that only certain H-1 auctions include the mount, so I made sure that I got one that included it.

i searched and found the link to the auction via live.com...but didn't see any indication on a rebate...via a winning auction etc....
