Looking to mount a light and be able to swap between Ak/Ar/Shotgun which all have mlok

Plenty strong for a light mount. I have one with a Magpul bipod that gets moved from gun to gun. It might be susceptible to dirt and mud if your gun is on the ground much.

Kinectic mounts are solid. You shouldn't have any problems using one.
