I like the 4.5x18. I have 2 of them. Had 1 3-12 and sold it. The 4.5 - 18 gives you more flexibility and I find the more I use higher magnification the more I like it.

Mostly bench shooting. dont get enough free time to shoot 1-4 times a year thats why i went budget optics. maybe try and make a rifle class
