                Vortex scopes are good. You can always do what I did, buy a used Vortex Razor HD Gen 1 used for right around $1K. I bought one for my 6.5 Creedmoor (now a 6GT), and one for my Vudoo. Vortex's warranty is legendary and 100% transferrable, so if there's a problem, Vortex will take care of it.

                      from what i have read, the pst2 glass is as good as razor hd gen 1. Its not as good as the gen 2

                          Sightron s-tac or Siii. Very nice scopes imho. Also look at trijicon's acupower line.
