    No issues

Since FBI published data showing 9/40/45 are all the same in stops and lethality, the .40 is being retired by many agencies.
    Cheaper Ammo for the department
Less recoil helps with accuracy (flinch) and department quals
    More magazine capacity

Why do people buy a G26/G27 that you hold with only 2 fingers?

    A- it’s small.

I’m not sure why one would want a Large Red dot on a small pistol

It’s a low volume item- any red dot on a pistol.

Brownells makes the RMR slide for the high volume glocks.

If you want one on your G27, most shops that mill the slide can do your G27

Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

      Glock 35, 40 and 41 MOS versions are .40, 10mm and .45 acp.

9mm is certainly more popular due to its abundance and lower-recoil in comparison the others. Plenty of RDS out there, just be sure to choose one based on reliability and durability and it should hold up fine.

I’ve found the same thing. I’m a longtime fan of 40 S&W and there are no aftermarket RDS slides for the G27 that I could find.

I’ve got a Gen4 G35 MOS and G40 MOS which I love and wanted the same for my G23 and G27. No dice haha!!

I plan on getting my OEM slides RMR cut.

ETA: I’ve had a couple of buddies use these folks with good results. I might give them a try: https://www.ziarmory.com/product/standalone-optic-cut/

You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
        Come on...what harm??

If you don't want to try a Rock Slide and don't want to get an OEM slide cut, you might try a dovetailed mount plate like a RBU.
