    TASCO PRONGHORN

Okay, before you guys starts laughing, at least let me know first what you think. My eyes are not what it used to be. For up to maybe 25 yrds indoor range, I plan to just use and practice with the irons. But once I try to go to like 50 and beyond (100-200 yrds), I wont be able to see anything.
I bought a Tasco Pronghorn several months ago to practice rifle shooting, its mounted on a .22 Marlin. From what I've read, the Pronghorn is a rifle scope (not just for .22) so I figured, it should also work on higher caliber rifles.

My first AR build hopefully will be done by the first weekend of May. You think I can use it on an AR? I may just probly buy a higher scope rings.

    BSA Sweet 22 scope

For 22 use, a BSA Sweet 22 is great. Zero it at 50 yards and just dial up or down the range as you want. Very nice.

I just picked up 2 of them from these guys, they arrived a couple of days ago and the glass is decent. For $50 each they are a steal:

Gemini, with the price of the BSA's being fifty. go ahead and get the pronghorn for 39.96 I use one on my .17 HMR and love it. it will hold up to a 5.56 or .223.

Cope. Thanks, I was concerned that being a cheapo, it might not hold up. Now all I need is a higher ring to hold it.

Just to update. I went to Jackson arms last friday and had the BUIS zeroed. After about 40 rnds, I installed the Tasco Pronghorn and was able to zero it after about 10 rounds. It stayed zero even after 60 rounds. I hope this cheap scope will stay zeroed. I'm going to Cayote Point this week and try it for another hundred or two rounds, well see how it holds.

If I got it zeroed at 25 (27?) yards, how many inches will it be off at 100 yards?
