What's the difference between the Eotech XPS2 and EXPS2?

    And does the difference matter?

The XPS sits lower and is absolute cowitness. The EXPS sits higher and is lower 1/3 cowitness. The EXPS also comes with a quick release lever mount.

If I'm running fixed sights, I prefer lower 1/3 cowitness because I like my sight picture less cluttered. If I'm running folding sights, then I prefer absolute cowitness for less height over bore (to reduce the amount of holdover required at close ranges). It's just personal preference.

Thanks. Does the XPS come with any mount?

I'd probably rather have the XPS because I don't run irons normally, but I like the QD mount.

The XPS comes with a mount but it's not quick release. It has a screw that you have to tighten.

Finally, a thread that answers the question. Not 200 opinions from those who own neither,.
