    scope for 7mm rem mag

I have a weatherby 7mm rem mag and I need to get a scope for it. What is a good all around scope for this gun? I'm broke now so I'm gonna keep the scope to 200 or under, and probably upgrade some day..

    Thanks.

oh ya, forgot to add that part.
Anyways, I don't know what it's gonna be used for Maybe hunting, maybe target shooting. I bought it a few months ago and havn't really shot it. .kind of an impulse buy because I got a good deal. I'd like a scope I could use to shoot in close, and maybe then out to 3-400 yds..

Here ya go. Nice glass, tough, excellent warranty. I had one on a 300 win mag and it held up without issue. 3x if shooting close, 9x for reaching out.
The 3-9x40 is a classic option that has been around for decades and will serve you well.

Try Nikon with the BDC reticle, they have a good selection and they are not that expensive.
I have one on my 7mm and I love it.

I hunted with a fixed 4x power for a long time. I had a 3-9x40 and liked it but for some reason, the VXIII in 3.5-10x40 on my 7mm RemMag works well.

That being said, I think there is glass that is as good or better than Lupy for less $. Sightron comes to mind.

Give Scott @ Liberty Optics a call and ask him for his suggestion on variable 10X in your price range. He won't BS you.
