I'm looking for a good red dot scope (Aimpoint or similar quality, $200-400 range) and flip to side magnifier to go with it. I want my optics to be as versatile as possible because it will go on a battle rifle that would be used for anything from CQB to 100+ yards. Any recommendations?? Thanks

You will have to go up a little in price, but an Aimpoint CompM2 and the Aimpoint 3X magnifier sound like just what you want. There are a couple of companies that make good flip mounts for the magnifier, LaRue being one.sigpic
