Aimpoint Lens Cover question

Hello All,

I just bought an aimpoint comp ML3 and I want to put on the rubber cover on it and in order to do this I need to remove the lens cover but I can't get the lens cover off on the scope. Is there a particular way to do it? I pulled and also pull while twisting but it doesn't budge. I read the instruction manual and it doesn't tell you how to remove it. Can anyone help?
