I own a couple Steiner Dbal's. One of them I bought new and it is fabulous. The other I took a chance on and bought used. Sadly...it was a little abused. The port for the pressure switch is loose, the flood light has some blobs/swirls/imperfections, and the pressure pad itself is constantly on.
Not to worry, called Steiner and they say they'll fix it. No questions about where I bought it or what I did to it to get it so jacked up. Just needed to know the serial number to know it was still under warranty, which it is, and they're sending me an RMA number and return label. They took down the list of my complaints, which I also submitted on their Support Forum, and they say they'll fix em all.
Whether they'll fix it or replace it remains to be seen. Either works for me so long as it comes back in working order.
Gotta love a company that stands behind their product.
Will of course update you once I get the device back to confirm they did in fact do a good job fixing it.
