Problems Trijicon TA31DOC (red dot cover)

Does anyone else have problems removing the plastic protective cover on their Doctor mini red dot on top of their Trijicon TA31DOC ? I tried to take it off for like 30 minutes last night and it would not come off and I don't want to break this thing. I know you are supposed to push down first and then forward but it still is not coming off. Any advice would be helpful.

    Thanks

I tried a few times when I first got the scope and there seemed to be a trick to it.... although I can't remember what that trick was.

I do remember it wasn't easy, though... but the scope is so cool I soon forgot about it.

You have to push down and forward at the same time. Thumb toward the front, push down on ridges and forward with thumb.

Your in the OC...run it by riflegear if your still having trouble and they can show you the trick.

It's easy as stated above, push down where the groves are located than push upward. That will take off the cover.
