    Taiwanese Tasco

I recently glommed a Swiss K3 which came with a Tasco "World Class" 6-24 x 40 scope made in Taiwan. I know that the later Chinese Tasco scopes are not well thought of but the Japanese made Tasco's are supposed to be OK.

Anyone know anything about the Taiwanese Tasco's?

I have one. Circa 1996. It works. The clarity is not good. I recall looking through an everyday Leupold hunting scope at the range after an hour of looking through my Tasco and saying Holy Hsit !! It just works, has plenty of elevation, I made a 1,000 yard hit at the F-class (mod) with it, no ghey *** special mounts or MOA rail bull****. I would not buy one for any money, there's better stuff out there. Hope that helps. Maybe take a peep through it, take a look if ya can outside in daylight.

Remember those Tasco 4x15 scopes? Those were pretty bad.
