    Valdada scope mount rings?

I plan on getting the EGW picatinny base mount and was recommend the Valdada scope mount rings. Has anyone used these rings? Are they good rings? Any other quick detach rings that you would recommend?

the TPS Products looks pretty good and the price is within my budget. Do you know the difference between the HRT, TSR, and the TSR "W"?

Dunno all the details on the TPS rings, but the TSR has a 0.190" recoil lug, and will mostly only work with Picatinny spec slots. HSR and TSR-W series have 0.140" recoil lugs and will work with either Weaver or Picatinny.

I haven't found the difference to matter on other gear as long as it's butted against the front of the slot, but some people like the closer fit if they're only using Picatinny rails.

I've got a pair of IOR QR rings, and they're fine, but a bit heavy (like most all steel rings), and the finish on mine is so-so - lots of machining marks. The recoil lug is the cross-slot screw, which has a round shank, rather than a square lug. They're also split off-center, like the Leupold QRW, so the top half has to snap onto the scope body, which can scuff it. Some people care about that - I don't. I haven't actually used them a lot, as they're a height I don't need that much.

My Leupold QRW rings are better finished and have a separate recoil lug. They're also steel and only a little bit lighter. I like them pretty well for the money - they're my favorite QR ring, but I don't buy the expensive rings.

Hmm...I think Seekins makes the rings for Valdata.

Maybe he does, but the finish is relatively poor on the Valdada steel rings.

Absolutely not true. That is pretty funny!

Was going to suggest those. I got a pair for like 40$ off ebay, they work great.

Brando are you thinking of the Snipers hide IOR scope that came with the Seekins rings? Pretty sure that was a special run for that specific package deal.

Well, that's why I wrote "I think..." because at one point while Seekins were on backorder, a buddy told me to just call IOR in CO as their 35mm rings were made by Seekins for IOR. I personally couldn't say for sure, but it sounds like it's not true. Go figure.

No guys. The Seekins were offered as an upgrade to the IOR V-Tac by Liberty Optics as a way to please the crowd over at Sniper's Hide, who like Made in the USA stuff (never mind the V-Tacs are made here too...) and the Seekins unique design.

We are one of, if not the, top Seekins dealers in the country.
