Just got this in the mail today, i would think the red dot should not look like this

Is that a 100moa dot? Try looking at it outdoor.

Look through the reticle and focus on the wall way in front of your gun or sight... focus on a target. Both eyes open. Let the reticle come into focus on top of your target that you are focused on - if you are indoors, turn down the brightness. Should work indoors too, even in a dark room with a weapon light.

Ahh mean, that's what a picture would look like if the reticle was in focus and not the EO body.

That is not even close to what my eotech reticle look like. I literally took about 30 pictures just could not get it to focus. I just went and look thru my buddy’s eotech and it’s confirmed i have a defective optic. I will have to send this back, thank you all you guys’s help.
