    Red Dot elimination for Saiga

The Saiga .223 is cheap, and not super accurate.
My scope or red dot must meet these requirements.

    1. Must cost less than gun.
    2. Forgiving eye relief.
    3. Dot or reticle must be not reviewed as "not being visible in sun."
    4. Battery life of 1000ish hours.
    5. I'd prefer it to have variable moa, or multi reticle.
    6. Low profile.

One option that is almost perfect is the Sightron SR 334.

4 reticles, some people review it favorably.
I sent Sightron an email and the battery life is 100-400hrs; it is eliminated.

To get about 1000hrs in a red dot that is not an accupoint, I've found 2 options.

    Millet Zoom Dot

300$ for a variable dot, but the intensity is automatically controlled and can be hard to see in rare situations.

    or

    ITACH micro aimpoint clone

Questionable brightness, and old 4moa fixed dot.
    less than 200$

I've read old reviews where people have had a more favorable opinion of the Millet Zoom Dot than a new Aimpoint. I think in most cases they were comparing the latest Millet against older Aimpoints. Has anyone used the ZoomDot and the latest Micro Aimpoint? Any thoughts?
