    Laser sights

Never been a fan of laser sights but thought i would toy around with one. What is the best way to use them? Am i getting on target via the sights or getting the laser on target, whats my first focus? To me that does not seem very useful. Is the laser intended to be used primarly in awkward/offset/offhand shootin* positions that a sight picture would be difficult?

To me in a pinch i think looking at both a laser and/or sight picture is not a benefit

    What am i missing

If you have the laser POI memorized, or zeroed with the berral, whether you use Kentucky Windage, or if the laser is lasing the target, theoretically if all goes right, will be where the bullet hits.

Other than for use with NVG's, lasers are useful for when you're shooting with a gas mask on and can't get a proper cheekweld.

Just know your offsets at extreme close range. My PEQ was mounted on the 3 o'clock side of the rail, so I would have to hold low and to the right at room distance to put a round in the T-box.
