The new Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24 ebr-2c
This is very similar to the viper pst (same reticle, magnification, FFP), for a fraction of the price:

What's economical?Originally posted by longrange1my gun shoots better with shiny brass...plus not only does the shiny brass make me look like a pimp at the range if the sun catches it just right it blinds the guy next to me which improves my odds of winning the match.Originally posted by XDJYoFull size. Stubbies are for sissies.Comment

This and what's the intended use? Just a 100-300 range toy, shooting paper? Or are you wanting to start PRS shooting? Hunting of any type?
While the Diamondback tactical does offer a great product for the money, there are a few major draw backs to it as well. Mushy turrets and no zero stop can be a huge PITA.Comment

Budget range and intended use will enable people to answer this question.Originally posted by tony270It's easy to be a keyboard warrior, you would melt like wax in front of me, you wouldn't be able to move your lips.Originally posted by repubconservPrint it out and frame it for all I careOriginally posted by el chivoI don't need to think at all..Originally posted by pjsigYou are talking to someone who already won this lame conversation, not a brick a wall. Wanted a Razor but wasn't ready to shell out $2000+, so I picked up a Viper PST 6-25 at the more economical price of $900.Originally posted by gwgn02G-shock, a good way to tell the time, and better way to tell the female variety you are unworthy mating material.Comment

It really depends on how much $ you're looking to spend and the features your looking for. You can't go wrong with the Vortex Viper PST Gen II- http://www.vortexoptics.com/category...ii_riflescopesComment

I have a 4-12 x 50 leupold vx II gold ring with AO. New on gun $300 in sfv. Paid $415 plus tax lifetime warranty.Comment

Vortex lifetime warranty is a pretty sweet deal. I have an HST on my RPR. Glass is great. No regrets.Comment
