There are plenty of dead middle east antagonist that would disagree without you about it being obsolete.... Not the latest or greatest..... but the speed and toughness....hard to beat. Loved that quote.... younger man's optic indeed.

Had a TA-11 but sold it since I couldn't justify keeping it.

It's a considerable chunk of change when there are other optics on the market that serve the same purpose for the average person and even better in some cases. Primary Arms and Swampfox both have comparable prism optics with better FOV and eye relief at half the cost.

The fact that shooters are still talking about ACOG and comparing them to newer optics prove they are not obsolete. Let’s see how LPVOs stand up to proven durability history of the ACOG.

no LVPO will ever compare to the ACOG in terms of durability. Not even the VCOG.
