Scope for cz 455

I have a cz 455 ultra lux in jail

I want a scope for shooting at paper 25 to 75 yards, bench rest,

Budget around 250.00,

I recently attached a Leupold 2-7 Rimfire scope to my Ruger American 22 bolt action. Very fine crosshairs, a bit thin for these old eyes, but otherwise good glass for $200 or so.

The Leupold 2-7 is a good scope. I have one on my 10/22 takedown. If you want a little more magnification you should look at a Vortex Diamondback 4-12x40. Not bad for the money.

Diamondback is good. I have that 4-12x40. SWFA fixed 10x44 is good too. You can find them probably once a year for $260 on sale otherwise $300. I think my CrossfireII 3-9x50 was $90 special sale.

The Leupold rinfires are nice and have a fixed 50 yard parallax, perfect for a .22 at those ranges.

I have 2 of the 455’s. I tried one of the Nikon 2x7 which was so so. The vortex crossfire is awesome for $149. (I do have very expensive scopes on my big game rifles but you don’t need it for a .22)
