I wish they'd reduce the dot size to 1 MOA, like it is with Eotechs. I've looked through both sights, and the 2 MOA dot seems unnecessarily large when you have the nice circle to draw your eye into the middle.

I am pretty sure the reason it is 2 moa in the HS is due to the dual reticals. With the HS you get the circle dot, OR a single dot.

The same reason you don't see 1 moa red dots. It's too small to stand alone.

How are these compared to HE510c-gr?

The 510 is an open sight, the 503s are enclosed tubes.
