however, a quick google search showed they no longer make rifle scopes possibly?

I saw the same thing. Not much information out there as far as reviews unfortunately.

Not high end quality in a rifle scope. If your on a budget, pick a Bushnell any day over a Pentax.

Comes with a rifle I'm buying. I like the power range but was wondering about it holding up on a 35 Whelen.

Likely going to have to start looking for something comparable in a better quality, stronger scope. Maybe put this on one of my 22's.
