MRO Tenabraex Killflash - Visible Honeycomb?

Anyone else using one of these on their MRO?

I just got one and was surprised by how visible the honeycomb is. I've used killflashes on other optics and the honeycomb was not visible at all (granted they were magnified optics, so maybe that's why).

Anyone else experiencing this? Is this normal?

    Thanks!

It's because you're focusing on the kill flash instead of a target.

Focusing on target is better, but the honeycomb is still more visible than expected.

The honeycomb definitely becomes less visible when the target is at a greater distance.

That won't change from red dot to red dot. It's on magnified optics that the kill flash starts to become visible.

Of course once you go into magnified optics, the kill flash degrades the image so if it's not being used at a two way range, you're better off using a sunshade.

Never noticed the tenabraex on my Acog's; I guess YMMV

On a non-magnified optic, you will notice the honeycomb. No avoiding that.
