Vortex product line - so confusing

So many of their scopes seem to have the same description and specs. Fore example, does anyone know the difference between the PST-5254 and the PST-5255? The 55 is on the Vortex website but the 54 is not, leading me to believe the 54 is obsolete. The descriptions are so alike I can't tell the difference.

From what I understand, the 5254 (MOA) with the EBR-2D reticle might be a limited / special run only for certain vendors. It's basically the same as the PST-5255 (MOA), but the numbers in the reticle are on the far right of the Christmas tree as opposed to running down the center of the bottom y-axis.

I assume you're asking about the 5254 because of the Midway sale. If so, I would recommend getting it if you don't care about MRAD. I have the Viper PST Gen II 5-25 MRAD on my CZ 455. It's a pretty decent scope. I still don't think the Zero stop is anywhere near as good as the Razor line, but I didn't want to buy another Razor AMG just for my CZ rimfire.

I'm actually considering getting one of the Midway PST-5254 just for a test scope.

^^^ This. Also to add that the 5254 does not have an opening in the center of the crosshairs.
