Bog Pod - tall or tactical

I just ordered the tall RLD-3. I want to be able to stand and glass. And shoot, too. -
I use the Gen. 2 shooting sticks tripod that work when standing. I need to find an adapter that will work with binos for this. They work well for shooting, beats longer distance shots off-hand.
JerryThe inconvenience of poor quality lingers long after the thrill of a good bargain.Comment

I got the bog pod camo tripod and it’s all I need. It swivels and adjusts easy. Durable, I’ve got two seasons of heavy use out of it and it lives in my truck bed. It’s light enough that I always take it and I’m a stickler about carrying useless stuff. Also great for glassing off. I use it for range shooting as well.Comment

I’m a hunter and I’ve used bog-pods and trigger sticks from primos. Bog Pods have some issues. The clamps on the legs fail (loosen and slide). I’ve have it happen on two hunts. They also can’t change height quickly. I have found trigger sticks to be far superior as a rest; they’re more durable and much faster into action, it’s easy and fast to adjust the height. I have both the short and the long ones. Sometimes as I’ve found out this year, you’ll only get standing shots.
I got so frustrated with bog-pod I gave mine away...Comment
