I have never used a leveling kit. Mounted many scopes with out any problems. Farthest I have shot is a bit over 1400 yards. I do not think anything is wrong if you want a kit but "I" just do not use them
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

How do you level your scopes? I'm trying to see if I can get around buying a more expensive gun vise.

Cardboard box with a couple notches cut to hold the rifle level.

All this does it level your scope to your pic rail. You need to level your reticle to gravity.

They are a quick way to level your scope on it's rail. I found it to be a useful tool.

I own and use the Arisaka Level Combo frequently.

I love it. Spuhr has a similar tool but it really only works with Spuhr mounts.

Almost all of my single piece mounts have worked with the Arisaka tool and I run a 1 piece rail with any of my ring setups so leveling the scope is always simple.

                    Very handy tool.

Awesome, thank you Matt. I actually just got off the phone with your customer support and added it to an order still being processed.

I think a tool like this is useful in leveling the scope to the mount or rings, but that's assuming the rifle and/or the mount is level also.

The inconvenience of poor quality lingers long after the thrill of a good bargain.

                          I like the concept.

Doesn't matter. As long as the reticle is held level. Biggest issue is the shooter puts a certain amount of cant due to the way they hold the rifle.

Right, if your scope is level to your rail/scope mount, that's what's important.

Good device. Beats using feeler gauges and the old eyeball.
