Primary Arms MD-ADS Push Button Optic--Yes or No?

I have a PA 2.5X prism on my AR 15. But for HD but for my summer cabin (very dense woods) I am thinking about a red dot that stays on all the time.

Note Rob Ski's torture test video in site.

This one is light, 50k hours on one battery, very durable, and made by Primary Arms.

It costs $158.00 and with a QD mount for $95.00, this brings me up to $253.00.

What is wrong with this? What don't I know? This looks so good on its surface that I am wondering why ever buy an Aimpoint Micro? I love my PA Prism and am sold on the company but there must be other considerations I have missed. What are they?

Not "made by Primary Arms" technically. Just their brand. I believe it's more accurate to say that it's made by Holosun. Actually made in China in the factory that Holosun contracts with, so don't be freaked out if you buy one and see that printed on the bottom. All of PA's offerings have great reputations for surprising durability etc. Not likely ever proven in a US Military combat situation though, as is true with the Aimpoints.

I say go for it. If you don't like it, send it back.
