    Carry Handle Manufacturers

Wondering if anyone has any experience with the cheaper carry handles and their ability to hold zero.

Ive seen DPMS and Colt, but would like to know if anyone has any first hand experience with NC Star, CAA, and other sub $50 products.

To put it in context, this is for a clone build but it's purely cosmetic. Most important thing is ability to hold zero. Aesthetics are not critical.

    Thanks in Advance

If it were purely cosmetic, you can get cheap or Chinese made carry handles (you named some of them above) for approx $30.

If you want it to function correctly, be the correct height, and hold zero, you need to spend in the $80-$110 range.

I have used BCM, RRA, Aero, and Midwest Industries and all are functionally the same.
I recently bought one from Midwest for $79. It's one of the nicest at a fair price.

I've had good luck with PSA. It came with the gun so I don't know how much they are but I'm sure under $100

Op, if you're still looking, mil-surp Colt carry handles show up on eBay often.

I'd contact the seller and see if they would hand pick a cleaner one for a few more bucks. I'd touch-up with Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black what ever blemishes were left.

I'm a big carry handle fan. Pretty much the only two I go with these days are Colt, Rock River Arms or if there is a chance to get one but I don't see them very often, Stag Arms is made by CMT which has been fairly well built in the past.
